How to Install

Install MT4 for Mac following these steps

  • Please check System Preferences / Security & Privacy to see if the option for Anywhere is visible under the highlighted section.
  • If this is not visible open Spotlight Search (Command and Spacebar) and the search and open Terminal.
  • Enter the highlighted sudo spctl --master-disable after the % and click enter
  • Then enter your password (this will not appear on the screen) and click enter
  • Go back onto Systems Preferences / Security & Privacy and the Anywhere option will be visible
  • Now open the lock and select Anywhere and continue with the download
  • Once downloaded the client can remove the option for allowing apps to be downloaded from anywhere by entering the highlighted sudo spctl --master-enable in the terminal
